Brief History
Les Digues Farm has been operating since 1976. Over the years since its founding, Charles Bourgeois built three irrigation ponds, two warehouses, two cold rooms and a machine shop. When Mr. Bourgeois, one of the founding members of Really Local, passed away in 2010, his son, Serge, took over the operation.
Description
The farm has 30 acres of cultivated land with mixed vegetables. Potatoes and beans at Les Digues are very popular.
Where sold
Products are sold mainly at its on-site stand, at the Dieppe Market on Saturdays from 7:00am to 1:30pm. They can also be found at the Shédiac Market on Sundays during the summer.
Also outside at the Dieppe Market on Wednesdays from 12pm to 5pm (July to September)
Calendar
The farm stand is open from the end of June until Thanksgiving in October. Summer hours: 9am-7pm, 7 days a week
Starting June 29: Les Digues is at the Dieppe Farmers Market every Saturday from 7am to 1:30pm and also on Wednesdays from noon until 5pm, early July until mid-September
