Owner: Guy Boudreau
Guy Boudreau took over the family farm over 30 years ago now. The business has been passed on from father to sons in the Boudreau family for several generations. Guy took over the farm from his father who, even though he wasn’t a full time farmer, kept the family business going and provided a meat counter for the people of the community. Guy’s father, an ex civil servant now octogenarian, still contributes to his son’s business to this day.
Boudreau Meats is a small business located on 200 acres of land in Memramcook and employs 5 full-time employees and an equal number of occasional workers. The farm raises hormone-free, grain and grass fed cows, turkeys and a few chickens. Boudreau Meats is also one of the few farms in NB offering slaughterhouse services for both cattle and poultry.
Farm Stand: Open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
Dieppe Market: Friday from 1pm to 6pm, Saturday from 7am to 1:30pm
Boudreau Meats sells their own products as well as the eggs of nearby microproducers from it’s own counter on the farm itself. The farm also provides meat for various enterprises such as elderly care facilities, restaurants (La Coast, Le Menu Acadien) and bakeries (Le Pain du Collège, Nana’s Bakery)
