All our products are distributed to the stores by JLB Produce, a company we created to represent us and sell our products to all the main retailers in the Atlantic provinces. JLB Produce also distributes the products of other producers of Really Local Harvest.
Dieppe Market
Every Saturday throughout the year, we operate a fruit stand at the Dieppe Market. During the summer, we have a fruit stand outside the market and we are open for business every Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. You will find a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as our jams and jellies. We also sell frozen fruits.
U-Pick
You can start visiting us by the last week of July when the raspberry-gathering season begins. The blueberry season starts approximately ten (10) days after. You can either pick the delicious small fruits yourself or buy the ones freshly picked daily. We are open seven (7) days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until September approximately. Afterwards, we are only open on weekends.
A brief history
Jean-Louis and Madeleine are partners in life as well as in business. They both share the same passion for agriculture. They embarked on the adventure of Les Petits Fruits de Pré-d’en-Haut with a strong agricultural background: Jean-Louis was a partner in the family farm ‘’Verger Belliveau ‘’ and marketing specialist for 25 years; Madeleine ran a farm in Quebec for 15 years.
Their goals: grow the best possible quality of fruits and vegetables while respecting environmental practices that fall within the frame of sustainable development.
Make your visit to the farm a rich experience that starts by enjoying a warm welcome from our team members; fill yourself with the beauty of the landscape of the Petitcodiac river and, of course, stock up on blueberries, a small fruit that provides numerous benefits to your health!
