History
Donald started in 1980 by planting strawberries. A few years later, he planted a few acres of brussel sprouts and some broccoli for the Rogersville brussel sprouts Cooperative.
From there, he has added some new vegetables through the years: cabbage, cauliflower, turnips, pumpkins, tomatoes and potatoes. Some of the vegetables did not meet his expectations so he no longer produces them.
Donald started to sell his vegetables in the cooperatives and in restaurants. He then started to sell his crops in Miramichi, Sobeys, IGA, Save-Easy, etc.Today, he continues to sell his vegetables in grocery stores, restaurants, homes, etc.
His wife, Viola, does book keeping for the farm. Donald and Viola have 5 children: Jérémi, Brigitte, Simon, Émilie and Alexandre who love taking part in some farm activities from time to time.
